RE: Ragen & Weekend Warrior Warning
I talked to Weekend Warrior today and was told the same thing, about not reimbursing Dealers for warranty work at this point, maybe in 90 days as the owner of Weekend Warrior is trying to sell the business.
RE: Dry Rot What's The Cause
THANK YOU David_42, that was my thought too. How could a unit 2 1/2 years old have 8 feet of dry rot on both the curb and roadside. Even if I had never added any sealant up on the roof, the manufacturers sealant should still hold at 2 years, I would think. O.K. so my question is, what do I do now? The dealer says that they won't cover it, the manufacturer (WW) says that they won't cover it. Am I supposed to just pay another $20,000. to get this thing fixed? I have never filed an issurance claim and I hesitate to do so in fear that the dealer and manufacturer will convince the insurance company that the cause is due to my negligance. Help!
Dry Rot What's The Cause
2006 LE3105 I am being told by the dealer and WW that the roof of my unit has extensive dry rot and it is due to the lack of sealant that I have used on the unit. I have constantly checked and sealed anything that looks like it needs it. 6 months after purchasing the trailer new, the back flood light filled with water and the backside upper side began to bow. The dealer fixed both and installed 50 screws while it was there. Two weeks ago I noticed the roof was soft in the same area as the flood light and the bowing of the side that was repaired. I would love to share the pictures, but I am new to this forum and not sure yet how to do so. Anybody else had any problems with dry rot, rusted screws, or anything else of this nature? This is a $43,000 unit that they are telling me is going to cost about $20,000 to repair. Where can I go for help on this? :?
